The 'arrow of time' is a very important philosophical, scientific concept of the modern world, far from being completely understood. In short, it indicates the problem of one-pointedness of time. In our world, time flows in one direction, familiar to us, but never in the opposite. Konstantin Chaykin has always strived to enhance the art of watchmaking with philosophical concepts that concerned him by embodying them in his watches. One perfect example - the Mars Time Program collection featuring three unprecedented wristwatches with Martian time indication, Martian-themed, and space-themed complicated functions - that was a response to Elon Musk's Martian program. The same could be said about the Joker watch and other wristmons, in which Konstantin Chaykin realized his idea of a watch that provokes vivid emotions. This was the case with Carpe Diem watches, where the master was the first watchmaker to bring the idea of mechanical animated metaphoric symbols to life. If you look at the figurative still life paintings of the 17th century, you notice that fixed images of clocks (sand or mechanical), were perceived as an allegory of frailty and the transient nature of time. This is where the idea of a new complicated Arrows of Time table clock came from.
